A felt Christmas tree was a big hit for my kids. I made two, so that they don't fight, everyday my girls kept on changing how their tree looks.

(kids craft) waffle christmas tree

Since i didn't have time to post during holidays, i will post a lot of Christmas stuff we did with my kids. Here's my kid's favorite desert that they did. For this desert you will need a cookie, ice cream waffle, whipped topping with a little bit of green food coloring ad m&ms.

(recipie) mini pizzas

I made these mini pizzas with my kids using flour tortillas. There's really no recipe, just whatever you want to add.

Baked pizzas in the oven on 400 degrees for about 13 minutes. And they're ready to eat! With the leftovers from tortillas i made a salad. I baked the pieces until they were crisp and added them to a salad.

(recipe) apples in caramel

The apple season is here!!!
My kids had fun making these apples in caramel.

Here's the recipe that i used:
Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, cubed

• 2 cups packed brown sugar

• 1 cup light corn syrup

• Dash salt

• 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 10 to 12 Popsicle sticks

• 10 to 12 medium tart apples, washed and dried

• 1 cup salted peanuts, chopped

Directions

• In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter; add the brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, about 10-12 minutes. Stir in milk. Cook and stir until a candy thermometer reads 248° (firm-ball stage). Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla.

• Insert Popsicle sticks into apples. Dip each apple into hot caramel mixture; turn to coat. Dip bottom of apples into peanuts. Place on greased waxed paper until set. Yield: 10-12 apples.

Editor's Note: We recommend that you test your candy thermometer before each use by bringing water to a boil; the thermometer should read 212°. Adjust your recipe temperature up or down based on your test..
