This time we had Yelena come and do a project with us. Spiced oils. Really awesome project and easy to do!
Here's what we used:
- bottle for the oil ( at walmart $3.99) then i found smaller bottles @ Joann for only $1
- Oil- we used corn oil because we were just trying it out at first but use any oil you like
- Garlic- peeled
- Jalapeno peppers
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- And anything else you want.
Here are some pretty cool kitchen rules that Yelena passed out to the girls.
Viola joins the group once in a while. This project she really loved. I bought more bottles and Viola and Bella love sticking all of the ingridients in and then i just pour in the oil.
Let it stand in a dark, cool place for 2 weeks, shaking it once in a while and then use it in anything like salads, cooking and frying.
