~easter at my house~

Made these "egg nests" with yarn dipped into cornstarch and wrapped over a balloon, Once it dried i popped it.

Then we made this planting acrivity for Easter.

(kids craft) tea cup from an easter plastic egg

So i got this idea from The Moody Fashionista.

My daughter is in love with these cups...

What you will need is:

plastic eggs

large buttons

pipe cleaner

glue gun

To assemble these, i started out with glueing the egg to the button and then messured the pipe cleaner to the size i wanted the handle to be and cut it. Also attached it.

And there you go ... you have teacups!!!

our egg painting this year

Here's my egg painting this year... i got really lazy and didn't do anything special with the eggs this year... So the night before painting eggs, i noticed that i couldn't find my egg tray from previous years, and i didn't know what i did with it... so i too a regular egg carton, cut off the top and the edges and painted it baige... turned out kinda nice...

These nests i bought Joanns and using a glue gun i added two candy eggs for decorations.

This was a paper mache craft that i've done using Martha Stewards directions. Of course they did not turn out as great s hers, but mine still look good also, maybe next year i'll do them again and they will look better. So what i did was, i blew up a big ballon, cut up tissue paper into strips. I made three layers, for the inside i used light pinks, for the middle, just plain white and for the top a mechanical shining paper. You cant really see on the photos, but it has a little shine to it. So the glue that i used to dip in the paper was MOD Podge. Loved the project! 

The smaller eggs where not Martha's i just got the idea off the internet from different sites. I took the plastic easter eggs and again cut pieces of scrapbooking paper, and dipping in the MOD Podge i wrapped the egg and let it dry.
