So here's my meringues, i always make them when i have egg whites left over after baking something.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of egg whites (about 5 egg whites)
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- vanilla to taste
Directions:
- Beat egg whites on high for about 10-15 min until they turn into foam.
- Slowly add sugar while still beating.
- Preheat oven to 250 degreed F.
- Then i use the proffesional decorating bag to squeeze the stuff out on parchment paper. Parchment paper works the best, it's easier to take the meringues off. If you don't have a decorating bag you can just use a spoon.
- Bake the meringues for about 1 hour if they are small like mine, for larger bake longer.
