(girls group) making spiced oils

This time we had Yelena come and do a project with us. Spiced oils. Really awesome project and easy to do!

Here's what we used:
  • bottle for the oil ( at walmart $3.99) then i found smaller bottles @ Joann for only $1
  • Oil- we used corn oil because we were just trying it out at first but use any oil you like
  • Garlic- peeled
  • Jalapeno peppers
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • And anything else you want.

Here are some pretty cool kitchen rules that Yelena passed out to the girls.

Viola joins the group once in a while. This project she really loved. I bought more bottles and Viola and Bella love sticking all of the ingridients in and then i just pour in the oil.

Let it stand in a dark, cool place for 2 weeks, shaking it once in a while and then use it in anything like salads, cooking and frying.

(girls group) making tu-tus

I started a girls group this summer.... It's been going really great.... We read the Bible together, go through a book that we have and then we do crafts and different projects. Here's one of the projects we did, making tu-tu skirts, and then the girls took pictures in them.

(wedding) purple and hot pink and chocolate covered fruit

Here are some strawberry and cherry covered in chocolate deserts that i made for a wedding.

And jello...

These cherries were really good and looked pretty on the bride's and groom's table.

These were kinda hard to make, but i managed...
