I also typed up a verse from the Bible that i wanted to memorize and since the vase is stending in my kitchen, it's always infront of my eyes...

cookie left overs

So here's what i do with my cookie left overs...

Put them up in a large zip lock bag and smash up cookies...

So this time i  got about 3 cups of crushed cookies.

Added 1 1/2 sticks of softened butter and about 1/2 can of cooked sweetened condenced milk. Also 3 teaspoons of cocoa powder. Mixed well.

Layed all the mixture out on clear plastic wrap.

Straightened it out.

And wrapped it in, closed the ends. And refrigirated.

(recipe) tiramisu in cups step-by-step

Ingridients:
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 1/4 cups of sugar
  • 2 (8oz) pkg of cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups of Frostin' Pride Icing and Filling
  • 2 teaspoons of disolving coffee
  • 7 tablespoons of Butter Rum Syrup
  • Ladyfingers

Separate egg yolks from egg whites.

Add sugar. Mix.

On your cooktoop you will need to bring water to boil in a larger saucepan.

Set your egg yolk and sugar on the water and right away time 10 min. Mix every 2 minutes. Turn the heat to low.

Note: i put a towel around the saucepan because sometimes water spills out.

Once 10 minutes have gone by, use your mixer to whip up the mixture, it will slitly turn a lighter color.

Soften cream cheese.

Put egg yolk and sugar mixture in a larger bowl where you can mix and add cream cheese to it. Mix well so that it doesn't have any bumps.

Add 3 tablespoons of Butter Rum Syrup. Mix well.

Separatly in a different bowl, whip up the Frostin' Pride Icing. I buy the icing @ Cash and Carry Stores. You can substitute with Heavy Whipping Cream, but it will have different taste.

Add to the yellow mixture, and with a spoon mix well. It kind of needs to have yellow and white swirls.

Set out your cups. You should start out with less cups at first, it's better because you can add more later on.

In a bowl disolve 2 teaspoons of coffee with 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. Disolve well. Add 4 tablespoons of Butter Rum Syrup and mix well.

Just a picture of how ladyfingers look like.

Cut each ladyfinger into 3 equal parts.

Dip 3 pieces of ladyfingers into the coffee mixture and put on the bottom of the cups.

On top of the dipped ladyfingers put anout 1 1/2 tablespoons of cream.

Repeat again, but this time add 4 pieces of ladyfingers.

Tiramisu cups are ready, but for decorations i sift a little bit of cocoa poweder on top of each cup, the grate some chocolate and decorate with a coffee bean or a chocolate covered rasin or anything you want to do.

Together i ended up with 14 cups.
