~Advent Printables 2013~

I love this time of the year, when Christmas comes. I love the holiday spirit. Every year at our house, with my kids we make an advent calendar, which i posted before, but i never posted the activities that go with it. The one from this year i will post later.

I want my kids to understand the real meaning of Christmas, so every day we read a small portion of the Christmas story from the Bible, talk about it, color a page that goes with it and then have all sorts of activities.

This year i want to share them with you. If you decide to use them, there are two types, one have already our activities included and the other have activities left blank. And ofcourse, since i am trying to teach kids Russian language, they are in Russian.

 

And i also have Number Cards.

~Thanksgiving 2013~

Thanksgiving was at our house this year, so this is what i came up with...

 

This garland was our fall craft with kids. We got leaves oak leaves and accorns from the park and dried them. Then i spraypainted the leaves and accorns gold and metalic colors. On the leaves with a black marker we wrote what our family was thanfull for. Then attached everything to the string and it was done. I loved it!

~couples night at church deco - november~

At our church we started having couples night once each month, and i got to decorate this one... We try to keep it simple so that it doesnt get expensive, so i basically just use everything i have @ home with the help of one of my friends....

~Snow Queen Themed 5th Bithday Party for my daughter~

All kids got to decorate gingerbread houses which i made ahead of time. A post on how to make them will come soon.
